This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our platform, you agree to the practices described here.

a) Account Information

When a student registers, we collect: name, email address, age group, class/grade, preferred language, and learning interests. Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text.

b) Learning Data

We track course progress, XP earned, lesson completions, streaks, and quiz scores to personalize the learning experience and display achievements.

c) Technical Data

We may collect IP address, browser type, device information, and referring URL for security, analytics, and service improvement purposes.

d) Cookies

We use essential cookies (authentication tokens) and may use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how our platform is used. Advertising cookies, if any, are never personalized for children.

AI Ka School is designed for children aged 8–17. We take extra steps to protect minors:

• We do not serve personalized or behaviorally targeted advertisements to users under 18.
• We do not collect more information than is necessary for the educational experience.
• We do not share children’s data with third-party advertisers for targeting purposes.
• Parents/guardians may request to review, modify, or delete their child’s data at any time by contacting us.
• We encourage parents to supervise their children’s use of the platform.

• Supabase — Our database and authentication provider (data stored securely with encryption at rest)
• Google Analytics — Anonymous usage statistics (no personal data shared)
• Google AdSense — Contextual, non-personalized ads only. No behavioral targeting for children.
• Vercel — Our hosting provider (standard server logs)

We do not sell user data to any third party.

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Bcrypt password hashing
• JWT-based authentication with httpOnly secure cookies
• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Rate limiting on authentication endpoints
• Content Security Policy headers
• Server-side access controls

We retain account and learning data for as long as the account is active. Users or their parents/guardians may request account deletion at any time. Upon deletion, all personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

• Request deletion of your account and data
• Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing

If advertisements are displayed on AI Ka School:

• All ads are contextual only — based on page content, not user behavior
• No personalized ad tracking for users under 18
• No ads for age-inappropriate products or services
• Users can report inappropriate ads to our team
